Circuit Tracer which is best?

Just wondering what is the best Circuit Tracer?

I have a ground in an initiating circuit in a fire alarm pannel. No drawings, no one knows where the conduits goes. I can see that it goes into the overhead floor which is poored concrete. I plan to open J-boxes until I find the signal produced by a signal generator. Should be easy.

I use the Ideal tracer and am happy with it. If used according to the instructions it can usually trace through the concrete slab without opening boxes.

For what you describe, a fox and hound would probably work pretty well. I suspect you'd not even need to open boxes.

For most other things, the Amprobe AT-2005 seems to be favored.
