Circuit tracer?

Has anyone heard of or could refer me to a circuit tracer that when put on a neutral conductor it would identify the ungrounded conductors of the multiwire branch circuit. One of my supervisors mentioned this to me the other day.

That would be a nifty trick. I own an Ideal kit and an Amprobe kit. Neither one of them does what you are looking for.

Would a telephone tone tracer work?

I have one of those phone tracers and a Greenlee tracer. The phone tracer works well without the power on and if the conductors are clear. Greenlee works well too as long as you can isolate the grounded conductor to trace. I remember when tracers were nothing but you and a helper going through the conductors until you found what you were looking for. You got to love technology
