Clarification of 680.26(B)(1)(b)

The in-ground pool we are bonding is formed with an epoxy covered rebar. The job was started in 2007 and is being governed by the 2005 code. Are we still required to conform to the requirement of the 12"x12" copper mesh installed around the contour of the pool?

Welcome to the forum. The 2005 code describes what needs to be done in 680.26(C)(3) The 2008 code describes basically the same under 680.26(B)(1)(b) but with better detail and understanding of what is required when the pool rebar is insulated.

Check to see if your area has adopted these rules. Some did not due to cost.
