class 1,2,3 circuits

I install control panels which use 480 3ph. power. they step down to 120v
for the controls for the motors. the controls go through a plc which has it's own fuse protection. would the wiring going to the field for devices be considered a class 1 circuit? would thhn insul. work? with no load for the signals what is the min. awg required?

What are the devices you are talking about? The control voltage is 120v to these devices are 120 volt?
