Class 1,2,3 & Fire alarm wiring

This area is new to me. Im on a job now where myself and another coworker with low volt knowledge are in charge of all low volt installation.....Fire alarm, electric door locks, cameras.........etc. A few questions.... after reading code, What is the difference between a PLFA, and NPLFA? What are some examples of Class 1, 2, 3 circuits?

Spend some time in 725 & 760, those articles do a pretty good job of explaining the differences. Most FA is power limited and class 3.
