Article 501.150 B 1-4
In a class 1 div 2 area where firealarm devices and low voltage ceiling occupancy sensors are installed . I need help with the following.
1.) are the devices required to be explosion proof
2.) are these circuits nonincendive ?

1 - generally not in a div 2 area.
2 - they are if UL or FM says they are.

Keep in mind that explosion proof means something very specific.

1.) Unless one of the Exceptions apply, devices covered by 501.150(B)(1) probably are. Although not likely, devices covered by 501.150(B)(2) may be.
2.) Not automatically. Nonincendive is a permissive wiring method but not a requirement nor an automatic application. Several inconvenient requirements apply if you choose to use it.

do any of the devices he actually asked about come under 501.150(B)?

Donno; the OP's the one that asked. They may have contacts[(B)(1)], they almost certainly have resistors.[(B)(2)]. (B)(3)&(4) are irrelevant to the question.
