I am installing low bay lights over a pump pit that has a hazardous area classification. The pendant mount lights will be installed eight feet off the ground in a class 1 div 2 environment. I am using overhead cable tray to run regular tray cable (NOT TC-ER-HL). I will come off the cable tray and into conduit and into the lights. The cable tray height/area is general purpose and then it is coming down into a class 1 div 2 environment. Do I need seals in this area right by the light fixture? Please let me know what part of NEC applies.
