Class 1, Division 2 - Wiring Methods

I am working in a Class 1, Divison 2 space and read through 501.10 verify the wiring methods. Something does not make sense to me... 501.10(B)(4) says "Boxes and fittings shall not be required to be explosionproof..." but rigid metal conduit is still required? MC is okay, but EMT is not?

Think in terms of bonding requirements (Section 501.30) rather than containing explosions.
