Class 2 and/or 3?

How common are Class 3 Power Limited Circuits (from Article 725)? Often they are used for nurse call, but I had a comment the other day about a class 2 nurse call system.

I have found class 3 to be uncommon. Nurse call and some distributed audio systems are. They are similar, only a few differences.
