Hey guys, great forum.
I am developing an LED lighting controller which will be powered from a UL/ULC listed class 2 power supply. I can live with a power supply output of 12V 1A, but would rather have 12V 5A.
I can see that UL has regulations that could be applied such as UL2108 and UL8750 but I would obviously rather not go this route if it isn't needed.
It looks like some jurisdictions spell it out and say that this setup is safe and no listing is needed.

The controller will be enclosed in a metal cabinet and there will be a number of 12 volt 20mA led lights connected. Obviously heating will not be an issue since the LED lights will not give off any heat.
Any ideas?
