Anyone ever heard of these terms? I am connecting a new industrial printer and these terms appear in the installation manual. The machine is 240 volt 30 amp single phase.

thanks

Sounds like something from a MilSpec. I don't recall off hand what each one is called but one class of grounding (really bonding) is via plug and cord, another via a grounding conductor of the wire type, a third via a ground strap. There might be more.

Since it a 30 amp circuit the EGC would be the same size as the ungrounded conductors, is it possible that they want an oversized EGC?
