Class I Division 2 locations

In reviewing Article 501, it appears to me that for a room that just has lighting and receptacles in it; nothing fancier than that, that the only special requirement is for seals. It would appear that I may use MC cable, standard receptacles, standard lighting fixtures and that the only thing I really need to worry about are seals in accordance with 501.15, B(1) and (2).

For my application, this indicates that I need seals on either side of the wall defining the Classified area.

I've never sean an explosion proof seal in series with MC cable. That seems incongruous. Is that permissible or should I use threaded conduit just for these penetrations.

Would be great if I had a detail showing all of the requirements. Anyone know where I can find one.

If the room is classified Class I, Division 2, and you think seals are all you need - you haven't read Article 501 carefully enough.
