Class I/ Raintight

Is a Class 1 Div I or Div II enclosure also suitable as a Nema 3R ??
I have a Class Div II enclosure outside that appears to have water entry from rain.

NEMA type 9 for Class 2 div 1 or Nema 4 for Class 2 Div 2?

Neither should have moisture penetration.
I have seen enclosures outside that will draw moisture (humidity) in as they cool at night. An option would be to use a panel pressurization system that meets Class 2 Div 1 requirements and will also keep the enclosure from wicking in moisture.

An enclosure that is rated as either NEMA 7 or 9 is not always rated NEMA 3R.

You must check with the enclosure manufacturer.
