Class II Division 1 For Low Voltage

I am working in a grain facility where we have been contracted to bring the belt conveyor floor up to NEC requirements. On this level is some grain monitoring for temperature within the concrete bins. On the column is a box with power supply 120-48VDC I believe to feed the sensor. Currently there is rigid conduit installed only.

Would seal off be required within 18" to this device?

Don’t use Class I rules for Class II installations. See Section 502.15.

Oops I meant Class instead of Division earlier and it applies almost across the board. The rules are significantly different.
