Does anyone have experience using Class II listed cordgrips as permanent and effective seals per the 502.15 requirement?
The cordgrips fit tightly around the cable and would theoretically not allow any dust to enter the explosion proof enclosure.
Other than the fact that explosionproof enclosures are not recognized in Class II,[See Section 502.5], the cord grips are fine. Eliminating dust ingress in recognized enclosures is the primary goal.
