Ok, working on a woodworking facility classified as Class III division I. I am reading the code regarding this specifically (2005 code) 503.115 which states "switches, circuit breakers, motor controllers, and fuses, including pushbuttons, relays, and similar devices, shall be provided in a dusttight enclosure." I believe this is just for disconnects and enclosed CB's, but does a panelboard fall under this where I just need a dusttight enclosure like a NEMA 5 enclosure? Nowhere in article 503 does it state a panelboard must be identified for a Class II environment. All panels I have found for a Class III are basically the same as what would be used in a Class I environment.
Under 503.135(A) it specifically says a heater must be identified for Class III. Using this as an example, the code does not say this for panelboards.
Any thoughts? Thanks
