So I did some number crunching and came up with a full load current of 1203 Amps.
Most of time when I get into those lofty ranges I have used MCCB (not that it happens all that often), but this time around I am thinking a class L fuse would be just the ticket. So I go to find a 1600 Amp Class L fuse block. It appears no one makes them. They make 1600 Amp class L fuses but not fuse blocks, at least none I could find.
Are you supposed to make your own fuse block? Or are these things intended to be bolted directly to bus bars.
