class2 mix and match

i always find these in power boxes,
how are they meant to keep them separate from the premise wire 120v

they are always in the box with the power wire 🤔
i dont even see how you would mount them like a doorbell tx hanging on a ko or what
looks like mix and match

how would someone even segregate these in a box or mr16 fixture?

didnt things all used to be UL???
The "backwards R" mark is a listed component ...it is not permitted to be field installed except as a replacement part. It is an item that is intended to be factory installed as a part of a listed product.
As far as the Class 2 conductors in with power conductors, 725.136(D) permits that for equipment that required both sets of conductors as long as you have a 1/4" space between the conductors of the two systems.

How can these comply with such a separation requirement when the wires share a single nipple?
