I am not sure how to classify the following rooms.
A single cement block building houses a back-up generator in one room and 2 diesel fuel storage tanks in a second room.
Both rooms contain panels, outlets and lighting. There are a number of violations that I would like to "clean up" but it is an old small building that was never officially labeled as to type of hazardous location if at all. I dont want to become responsible for the whole mess. I have read the NEC article 500 etc. but still not sure. I will also check out NFPA 499. Thank you in advance for any input..
