Hi,
have an opportunity to bid for powering several lifts in a automobile repair shop. The lift motors are 2 HP, single phase 208-230 v, and planning on using EMT from panel in same room. My question is, are automobile repair shops normally classified? There are no fueling done in this shop, it is a large room (around 70' x 70' ) with a high ceiling of around 22'. I can't imagine too high of a concentration of flamables in the day to day operations there, but thought I would ask you to share your experiences with similar jobs with me. Thanks, E/M.
