Cornstarch. Sprinkle cornstarch over the oil stains before you put your clothes in the laundry hamper. It will draw out the oil overnight, then the clothes can be washed. Some of that orange citrus spray works good too. As does Dykem remover.

Penetrox is one I haven't conquered yet.

I have certain coveralls and old cloths that I wear when its time to do the "Nasty work" I keep them in a duffle bag behind my seat in the van. You can get most of the stain out but they wont look the same. And I wouldnt want to wear them to a customers 1.5 mill condo and look like some kind of "dirt merch" and hand them a bill for 5 grand.

I do the same, but I often tell myself "I'll be neat" or "It's only a little job", and I get myself all screwed up anyhow.

BTW is it MDs Hunk????
Uh... no, but that would be funny. MD Shunk. Shunk is my last name. Rhymes with skunk.

Fire is a good cleaner of oil stains, only when pretreated with gasoline.

You mean you didn't go around calling yourself MD's Hunk in high school to attract the ladies?

For some reason it hasent sunk in yet that I really should stop wiping big gobs of silicone on my clothes as it seems like to never come of....that and fire caulk....

At least silicone wears off eventually. The worst thing is PVC glue. That never comes off.

The worst thing (IMO) is (polyurethane) expanding foam sealant.
The only thing that will remove that stuff from skin is sandpaper or steel wool.:)
The first time I used it...soon after it came out..I didn't read the directions first.... "DO NOT GET ON SKIN".

After having black hands for about 3 days, I finally used a S.O.S. Pad
(pot scrubber) to scrub it off my skin.
Good thing that I have thick hide, cause I removed about 2 layers.

Anyone whose ever had a experience with that stuff will agree.....Wear Gloves.

As far as getting grease or stains out of clothes.
If you will use some automotive hand cleaner ("Go-Jo" for a example), and rub it into the stain before washing, it will usually remove all of the stain.

I second that. The blue label white stuff seems to work better than the citrus stuff. On top of that, spray and wash dual power, and a tide spin brush, little bit of detergent...keep it away from small spaces and reflective surfaces, cause it will spontaneously combust...or just burn up...if you're careful, it only gets really hot... ;)
