Does anyone know if the NEC says anything about clearances of electrical conduits from water pipes?

Re: Clearance from water pipes

300-8 States that raceways are designed for conductors and cables and prohibits raceways being used for nonelectrical components such as water lines. This does not prevent you from installing a water line with a conduit through a common raceway sleve etc. The water system is bonded to the electrical system.

300-8 does not mention anything about clearance from water pipes. I do not know of any article that does.

Re: Clearance from water pipes

As long as the piping is not in the 110.26 work space or equipment space there is no code rule about water pipes and electrical equipment.
