I hate reinventing the wheel. I need or would like to have the ability to access a searchable data base via our smart phones. My office help would be able to update it daily. One is fairly small the other about 5k items. Any hints where to start?
There are lots of options these days, but I think DropBox would be a good way to go. Painless and reliable.

I walked away from worrying about things in the computer world when I left my other vocation.

Having said that I did keep on a news letter that is put out by ZDnet.com that puts out daily mail from
techrepublic.com. Tech puts out almost daily white papers that cover a very broad base of subjective information.

I just so happens that (TR) put out a white paper from logicmonitor.com for a free fifteen day trail of their cloud software.

dropbox and google docs come to mind immediately.

i looked in my google drive apps, and there are now probably
a couple hundred different apps for google drive, that
do a ton of different things. take a peek and see if any of it works
for you.
