I'm pretty clueless on the wireless switches that are available these days. Have a customer with finished garage and basement, all drywall, and they want to add 2 switches to an existing switch in the garage. Its just a SP switch in garage but they want to control the floods from the kitchen and basement walk out door.
What experience have you had with wireless switches? Dependability? Distance limitations? Ease of installation?

Thank you!

I’ve installed about 30 of them, pretty decent range. Two of them controls the lights and heat for his outhouse! LOL!
They also make a sun visor bracket, which I used in my most helpful install for a handicapped pers

There was a house with a three car garage, and the door to the kitchen was in the middle of the back wall.

The owner had a contractor add a door at the end of the garage, going into the entry, with a wheelchair lift.

But they didn't think about a light switch over there. So I suggested the Caseta/Pico combo, and thought that might be a good opportunity to try out the sun visor clip with another remote in the car.

The owner really liked it because she could turn the garage lights on from the car when she pulled in, then turn them back off after she went up the wheelchair lift and into the entry.
