Would the installation of approx. 100' of a CLX cable stripped out, with the size of the cable being a 3/c 500 with 3 - #6 grounds, the CLX cable being stripped out approx. 100', with the CLX connector coming into the back of a pull box, and feeding back into approx. 100' of conduit (4" PBRC above ground and Sch 40 PVC underground)and terminating into a piece of switch gear be against code?
I would think that if the CLX is stripped off that far, and pulling the 500's and the grounds from the cable into the conduit vs. a ground sized for that size conductors, that the 3-#6 grounds from the cable should be terminated in the pull box and a 1/0 pulled in the rest of the way.
could you please advise, or point to the correct code section?
