Cnc machine disconnect needed?

Installing a new cnc machine that requires a transformer. Machine has a lockable disconnect for incoming power that turns everything off. The transformer will be hung less than 20 ft away. Is it necessary to put a disconnect between transformer and disconnect on machine?

You need to look at the transformer secondary conductor rules in 240.21(C).
Remember the distances listed are for conductor lengths not the physical separation.
