We have a risk who has indicated that they have co/alr and alumiconn wiring types

Another property indicated that there was aluminum wiring remediation with copalum in 2015

Are these “patches” for aluminum wiring? I’ve never heard of this before and with a quick Google search can find connectors that are suitable for this type of wiring configuration, but nothing that indicates what the wiring type is rated for. Connectors are made for adapting existing aluminum wiring to newly installed copper wiring so it doesn’t sound like this is a replacement for aluminum wiring, just a way to patch or extend aluminum wiring to newer copper wiring.

Since we are looking for at least 100 Amp service on habitational risks, is it possible to achieve this goal with this type of wiring?

Any help is appreciated.

These listed devices are used to transition the solid aluminum branch circuit wiring to copper for connection to the devices. There is much debate as to which ones are safe and which ones aren't. They are not the same as a complete re-wire.
