I am trying to update some specification sections and one is CATV systems in trying to do some research I was wondering if anyone could point me to some good technical information regarding tri-shield, quad-shield, copper conductor, or copper steel covered? This is where I seem to be getting stuck. Thanks in advance for the help.:confused:
 
Go to a Coaxial Cable manufacturer's website. I sure you will get tons of info there. Also, go the the UL White Book under the product type. There will be good info there as well.

About all I can advise is unless you are "intimate" with the CATV industry don't bother. Specs written by engineers and architects for technology systems usually get a well deserved "where do these guys find this stuff" from anybody that knows the industry.

Surely there must be some boiler plate from the 60's that you can just copy and paste. :)
