Re: Code books and Test

I know the NEC was published in Spanish a few editions back, but I don't think it is anymore. There is a Mexican Electrical Code which is basically the NEC in Spanish.

I would impagine there are reference books in Spanish however I do not know of a specific publisher or source. Your best bet is to perform a basic internet search.

Re: Code books and Test

A quick internet search confirms Bryan's statement. The last NEC published in spanish appears to be the 1999, which few states are still referencing.

Porque le quieres? El examen es problemente en ingles. :D

Not I. My wife doesn't like them a really really whole lot. I've had to black out that particular word in our dictionary, just so she doesn't accidentally see the word and start hyperventilating. And if one shows up unexpectedly in a TV commercial, the TV has to be turned off until it has been fully exorcised.

(But don't tell her I told you this. :D :D )

Well that's interesting. I wonder what CA will do for the electrician certification test when the test is switched to the 2002 NEC. They plan to make the test available in Spanish. Right now they are having problems getting test translated into the correct dialect of Spanish.

Oh as far as the snakes, I'm cool with that unless your one of those who wants to dance around holding rattlesnakes.
