Hi Mike,
I came across following set up:
A 3#2 THHN/THWN feeder protected with a 3 pole,100A trip breaker in a MCC
feeds 2-30 KVA , 480V-208Y/120 V transformers. At the transformers there
is no Primary or Secondary protection and there is no main breaker in the
distribution panelboards. This installation is about 25 years old. This
set up I believe is a violatio of NEC. Please comment if this was
permissible by NEC 25 years ago.
Thanks
