Code Electrical Equipment Designations

I have been looking in the code for the "official" voltage designations (ie: markings) for equipment. Does any one know where this is located( ie: 208/120V vs. 120/208V...etc.)

Although article 100 lists some standard voltages, a more thorough point of refernce would be IEEE documents such as the Red Book, (IEEE Std 141) which is reporduced from IEEE C84.1.
