The aerial coaxial drop system has an aluminum wire that is molded into the jacket for use as a support mechanism, commonly called a messenger wire. I'm looking for some clarification around whether this particular wire, not the coaxial itself, but only the messenger wire is or is not considered to be part of the communication system and therefore must be bonded to the inter-system bonding conductors at the dwelling.
