I have an electrical inspector stating that the NEC does not require raceway for a 70v class 3 voice evacuation / emergency communications system.
I know that in the last couple of years I have read that if a voice evac / emergency communications system using 70v system, it will be required to be installed in raceway if the cable is over 100' from the amplifier.
Where did I see this at, and does it still apply?
