Code on receptacles per circuit

Working at a hospital today and the subject came up. Foreman told me today that you cant have more than 10 receptacles on a 20A circuit. Says each receptacle is rated for 1.5A which means 1.5A x 10= 15A...less than 80% load on the circuit. He swears it is in the code book somewhere. I told him there is no code on amount of receptacles in a commercial setting, to which he disagreed. I would like to clear this up by tomorrow but dont know where to start to look for a code i dont feel exists. I know theres ratings for residential but I told him i wasnt positive of what. Anyone able to help out?

IMO it's 13 on a 20 amp, but the NEC isn't so definitive. Mike Holt agrees:
