Is a exhaust fan permitted to be installed in a bathtub/shower wall at the height of 6'?
The question is relating to installation of a bathroom exhaust fan installed in the confines of the bathtub/shower area. The bathroom in this case restricts the installation and the customer wishes the fan to be on the wall about 6' above the floor inside the bath/shower. Of course the obvious concern is the danger of someone touching the fan while in water. Particularlly of concern if the fan malfunctioned and became energized somehow.
