'need to show voltage drop from branch circuits and feeders meet FBC (FL bldg code) energy code 505 for 3% and 2%'

what does that mean and how can I satisfy reviewer ?

thank for any help.

You can use an online calculator like the one here scroll down for the calculator. You can play with it and get the right percentage based on different wire sizes

I personally don't know how you can do voltage drop calculations as typically you will have a drawing note stating the electrical contractor shall coordinate conduit and wire installation with other subcontractors........to avoid conflict.......etc.

Due to this coordination wire lengths and runs (if you show them on the drawings) will most likely change.

Maybe you do this already, if so disregard.

I would put a typical note stating wire lengths less than 100 feet 12 awg, Wire lengths between 100 to 200 feet 10awg.....and so on,

Also maybe put another note stating that voltage drop shall not exceed 2 percent for feeders and 3 percent for branch circuits.

And if you really wanted to get the point across, with the voltage drop note add " The electrical contractor shall submit all circuit lengths with voltage drop calculations for review by the engineer.

I recommend that you place a telephone call to the Reviewer and obtain
clarity directly from them.........That way, there is no misunderstanding
of what is being requested
