This may not be the right forum but,
I am lic. in VT an VA. Vt requires 15hrs of code update every 3 yrs for lic. renewal. Mine is due in june and I live in VA. Is there any type of program that I could take to satisfy this requirement without going to vt for the couse offered there. They only require that you attend the class and there is no test or anything required.

Re: code update courses

I would think that your best bet would be to contact your EC board in the State your licensed in and ask them. Some states are reciprocal - some are not.

In NJ, we must take 34 hours of CE, which includes 10 hours of Code and law. I mention this because of NJs proximity to VA. If VT will accept NJ's standard(but not VA's) it may offer yet another option for you.

Thanks
the course i would take in vt is free and the online will cost about 190.00 but i think that it is worth it. I doon't have to fly or drive so it is seems well worth it.
