Is it possible to put a (for instance) 400 amp disconnect ahead of two 5 gang meter sockets? ...and subfeed the ganged meter sockets and the associated panels right below them? My concern is that the neutral and ground will necessarily be bonded at the 400 amp disconnect and the panels will be subfed... but how do I "subfeed" the two 5 gang meter sockets? The neutral and ground are bonded in gang meter sockets as well. Using a meter stack would be easier, but I'm just rolling this particular installation that I just outlined around in my head at the moment. Maybe there's no way to do it without using a bonafide 10 space meter stack already set up to do so.
