I am laying out a project in a manufacturing plant and they specify color coding on the receptacles - Question: Red receptacles=Emergency power - Orange=IGR - I need to identify UPS receptacles with color coding, they are not necessarily IGR - What, if any, are the NEMA or NEC standard color coding indexes? Thanx

I have not heard of a standard receptacle color code. Isolated don't have to be orange, but do have to have a orange triangle.
For UPS I would use blue.
I would only use red if its a Art 700 emergency generator applicaion, other wise use green=generator.
I don't used colored receptalces, but I paint the ss cover plates.
