There's a small commercial job that some friends of mine are doing and it involves an 800 amp 3-phase service disconnect and 2 -400 amp load centers. Since the voltage is 208/120 they will most likely use a black/red/blue color scheme for the service and feeder conductors. For the branch circuit 3-phase loads, I've suggested they continue on with the black/red/blue color scheme and use a different color scheme for the 208 single phase and 120 volt single phase loads. I've suggested brown, pink, yellow and light blue for 120 volt circuit color choices and orange and dark brown for the 1-phase 208 circuits. Are there more standardized schemes that I should be using?
Is this sensible? Will this make it easier in years to come for anyone coming in to troubleshoot? Or is it all a waste of time?
 edit: It's understood that the grounded conductors will be white and the EGC's green.
