Hello all ! I've been enjoying this forum for some time now but this is my first post. I took and passed my test last night , but there was one question that I had a hard time getting my head wraped around the phrasing of the question and was wondering what others thought ?

10.) Unless all ungrounded conductors are simultaneously disconnected, a
multiwire branch circuit shall not be permited: (a) in a commercial kitchen.
(b) in a commercial repair garage. (c) in a Class 1 Division 1 location. (d)
in a Class 2 Division 1 location.

I'll grant that it was somewhat late when I took the test last night but even the the light of today it still strikes me differently each time I read it. Is it just me ?

I'm in the firestone area but the shop I work for is in Fortcollins.

501.40 was one of the first places I ended up, but if you look at 502.40
you can better see my confusion with what they are asking for as that
would give me two correct answers

I believe this to be a typo on the test. there are 3 correct answers to that question. I think the word "not" was NOT meant to be in the question at all which would make your answer "commercial kitchens"

I love the smell of crow on a Monday. That'll teach me not to find an answer, say "Good enough" and call it a night!
