Combining different 24 volt HVAC systems

This is my first post/question. I'm trying to retrofit a historic home with smart technology. It's heating is a boiler with three zones controlled by 3 24V thermostats. The cooling is two zone with two complete systems, each controlled by its own 24V thermostat. One of the AC systems and one zone of the heating share a location for the thermostat, with both supplying their own red wire. Is it possible to combine the two 24V supplies? Only the AC provides a common. A Nest thermostat works, but I want to use one with Z-Wave capability. Is it possible to sync up power and common on different systems?

You would have better luck contacting someone in the HVAC industry.
