Combining numerous #12 wire equipment grounds

Attached is a picture of a wireway with 20 plus MC cables entering it with a grounding bar in the wireway. Would it be code compliant to run a single #12 from the wireway ground bar to the Panel for all of the circuits to share.

Yes a single bonding jumper sized for the largest circuit is permitted. If the paint were removed behind the ground bar the jumper can be eliminated.

Thank you this is one of those situations where it just does not feel right. So assuming all ckts #12 one #12 jumper from wireway to panel would suffice. Or if paint is removed or ground bar is threaded properly no wire required and you could rely on conduit as EGC. I see where this could greatly reduce Panel traffic.

It's unlikely that multiple circuits will short to ground at the same time.
