A few questions in regards to grounding a 400 amp commercial service with two 200 amp panels side by side being fed from one 400 amp meter.
1.) What article 250 table do I use in order to size the ground wire I need to use to bond water & gas pipes on a commercial building with a 400 amp service that has two 200 amp panels? For what it’s worth, the 400 amp service is being fed with two sets of 250 aluminum for the hots and two 4/0 aluminum for the neutrals.
2.) Do I need to run a ground wire from both panels to the ground rods, the gas pipe and the water pipes? Or can I come out of only one of the 200 amp panels and go to the water pipe, gas pipe and ground rods?
