I am replacing 3 prong receptacles in a commercial building that has metal conduit and metal boxes inside block walls. They were previously replaced with 3 prong receptacles with obviously no ground wire. I know the rules for residential as afar replacing ungrounded receptacles, but since the conduit was used as the EGC should I still use a GFI breaker/receptacle? Thanks

You don't need a wire to have a proper equipment ground, metal conduit is an excellent equipment grounding conductor. 250.118 is your reference.

As long as the receptacles are self-grounding you can just screw them into the grounded metal box.
