What is the required seperation of conductors in a 480 v 3 phase Solar Inverter. Ours appear to only have about an inch seperating the phases?

Do you mean between insulated phase A, B and C or some other circuit of another voltage?
If just A, B and C, then there is no minimum. They coexist in conduit touching each other.
