I am pricing a restaurant project. The panels will be moved to the mezzanine. They will not be visible from the kitchen. The dishwasher and the booster heater are both 208/3p -- approximately 50 and 85 amps respectively. Will disconnects be required?

I have never installed, serviced or seen a commecial dishwasher without a disconnecting means within sight.

The switches on the units themselves do not typically quilfy as unit switches as they do not disconnect the power they are only control switches.

Nor I.

Local disconnects are handy, especially if the switches on the unit are what need to be worked on.
