I have a commercial dishwasher to install in a church. Motor amp = 2.69, Heat 39.42 amps - total FLA = 42.11
Applying the 120 % rule 42.11 X 1.2 = 50.5
I see from 220.56 the demand is 100% - So technically I would need a 60 amp breaker, right? with #6 MC cable.
Also, there is not a neutral connection - only 2 lugs for power and a ground. There isn't anything in the code requiring me to run 6/3. Correct?
