Hi
Could anyone help me on doing a Commercial Electrical Plan ?
I am doing some electrical drop cords for some saw machines, I need to know the symbol to use and if anyone has a sample of a plan that contains drop cords so I can see how it is done
Thanks

I don't have a sample, but I have often seen it represented as a round box with a J and a round duplex symbol and a spiral (pigtail) line connecting them. Ultimately is is whatever you draw and use in the symbol legend or plan notes.

Another way I have seen it, and it removes confusion is to attach a plan note to each location, then reference a detail that shows EXACTLY what you want. Do you want stratin relief, do you want a Daniel Woodhead or a Hubbell cord cap, etc. For this you can still use the symbol described or simply use a duplex symbol and the note.
