What is the code for wiring the new led high bay fixtures in a commercial garage regarding power connection to the j-box? Is a receptacle or switch required or does the quick connect on the interior of the fixture serve as the disconnect. This is a 120volt fixture and the business is an auto body repair shop

Luminaries, do not, in general require disconnects.

Are you thinking of the rule in 410.130(G)? That only applies to "fluorescent luminaires that utilize double-ended lamps and contain ballast(s) that can be serviced in place."

Yes, I probably am. I've seen so many new led style high bay fixtures lately that come corded and setup that way that I assumed the code may have changed. Thank you
